Scoring guide
THREE numbers to understand:
- Performance Score
- Event League Points, and
- The latest-three-event total.
Performance Score (0-10) + Podium Bonus = Event League Points
01 – How each event earns points
Speed, Trick, Flow and the full Competition use their own judging criteria. Each result is converted to a common 0-10 performance score before adding the podium bonus. The conversion methods are still to be defined.

02 – One record, two uses
Decision | Which Numbers Are Used? |

Season Standings | Accumulated league points. Award eligibility and points after promotion are
addressed in the League System guide. |
Level Promotion | The latest 3 eligible events: total league points AND the required performance scores. |
Check ability thresholds using performance scores only.
Example: 5.0 performance + 1.5 bonus = 6.5 league points. The rider has NOT reached a 5.5 performance threshold.
How Promotion Works?
03 – Meet both requirements

Explorer to Intermediate | 19+ Points | At least 2 scores at least 5.5 |
Intermediate to Advanced | 22+ points | At least 2 scores at least 7.0 |
The window moves forward: After event 4, check events 2, 3 and 4 for promotion.
Event 1 stays in the season record.
Eligible-event and missed-event rules are still to be defined.
04 – Example: an Explorer rider moves up

Points: 6.0 + 6.2 + 7.0 = 19.2, meeting the 19-point threshold.
Consistency: All 3 performances reach 5.5; at least 2 are required.
Result: The rider meets the draft promotion criteria.
05 – Does one low score change the level?
No. Two consecutive events below the current-level minimum trigger a Level Review. Review the performances and reasons before deciding whether placement one level lower is appropriate.
Performance minimums:
- Rookie 3.0
- Explorer 4.0
- Intermediate 5.5
- Advanced 7.0
These checks exclude podium bonuses.
